Chronic Wound Care Company Clearikon Graduates from UF Innovate | Sid Martin Biotech Program

ALACHUA, Fla.– UF Innovate | Sid Martin Biotech, the leading biotechnology incubator at the University of Florida, is pleased to announce that resident company Clearikon has graduated from its program. Clearikon creates innovative therapeutic products to promote healing for people and animals. They have graduated into a new distribution center based in Alachua’s San Felasco Tech City, a premier sustainable community designed with entrepreneurs in mind. Clearikon has developed new therapeutic products that dramatically improve the quality of care for patients suffering from chronic wounds. Their product line includes plant-based topical ointments, cleansing products, and therapeutic devices that reduce pain and accelerate wound healing without the need for prescription drugs and antibiotics. 

Clearikon joins more than 60 biotech company alumni of Sid Martin Biotech, including Axogen (NASDAQ: AXGN), Applied Genetic Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ: AGTC), RTI Surgical (NASDAQ: SRGA), Ology BioservicesLacerta Therapeutics and MLM Biologics.
