Kevin O’Leary, entrepreneur, best-selling author and star of ABC’s “Shark Tank,” will be speaking at the Phillips Center for the Performing Arts on Monday, March 25, 2019, at an event hosted by ACCENT Speakers Bureau. Doors will open at 7 p.m. and the keynote presentation will begin at 8 p.m.

Students with a valid Gator1 ID may pick up one ticket per Gator1, with a maximum of two Gator1 IDs per student free of charge from the Student Government suite in the J. Wayne Reitz Union on Thursday, March 21, and Friday, March 22, between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. and Monday, March 25, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Any remaining tickets after will be made available to the general public at the Phillips Center box office at 7 p.m. on Monday, March 25. The keynote presentation will be followed by a 15-minute student Q&A.

As one of the titular “sharks” on ABC’s Shark Tank, Kevin O’Leary, also known as “Mr. Wonderful,” quickly became one of the most compelling figures on the panel because of his astute, incisive, and entertaining evaluations of both potential entrepreneurs and their business ideas.
