The Harrington Prize for Innovation in Medicine, presented by the American Society for Clinical Investigation and the Harrington Discovery Institute, recognizes a physician-scientist who has made groundbreaking contributions to science through innovation, creativity, and clinical impact.
Each year, one recipient is selected for this prestigious honor, which includes an unrestricted $20,000 honorarium, the opportunity to deliver the Harrington Prize Lecture at the AAP-ASCI-APSA Joint Meeting, participation in the Harrington Discovery Institute Scientific Symposium, and the publication of a personal essay in the Journal of Clinical Investigation.
