About Josh Greenberg and the Onward and Upward Award
Josh Greenberg, CTO and Co-Founder of Groovershark, was a mentor and hugely impactful role model for many in the community. He chose to make Gainesville home for his company and through his leadership, forever had an impact on the Gainesville innovation ecosystem. The City of Gainesville recognizes April 17th as Josh Greenberg Day to honor his legacy.

3:30 Star Unveiling
startGNV is pleased to announce the GNV Innovation Walk of Stars, a new annual event that will honor leading innovators in Gainesville. This year, we’re partnering with Trimark Properties to honor Josh Greenberg’s legacy by naming him as the first star.

The event will begin at 3:30 and last roughly 15 minutes. Afterward, guests are encouraged to grab a drink, get comfortable, and settle in for the concert.

4:00 Benefit Concert
Join us for an amazing benefit concert that will kick-start fundraising efforts for the annual Josh Greenberg Onward and Upward Grant. This award is given to an early-stage startup in need. Raffle tickets will be sold for $5.

Ticket sales and the event raffle will benefit the fundraising for the grant award.

Want to purchase multiple Adirondack chairs? No problem! We’ll group all your purchased seats the day of.
Each seating setup will be social-distanced according to county guidelines.
Yes! the food trucks will be open so you can purchase some tasty treats.
All seating options include 2 drinks per person(alcoholic or non-alcoholic options available).
