The Applicant Assistance Program (AAP) helps small businesses apply for Phase I Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR)/Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) funding. Selected small businesses can participate in the program at no cost. Through AAP, companies can receive:

  • Needs assessment/small business mentoring
  • Phase I application preparation support
  • Application review

AAP provides support and guidance, but participating small businesses are responsible for putting together their application and required documentation. More information about the program is available in the archived webinar recording
