The NIA Start-Up Challenge is a two-stage, five-month accelerator program designed for early-stage entrepreneurs with science-driven ideas that can increase diversity in NIA-funded research and development. This competitive program offers cash prizes, entrepreneurial training, mentorship, pitch coaching, and networking with industry partners.
Up to 21 finalists will be selected with a $10,000 cash prize. Finalists will refine their business plans and pitches, culminating in a final judging panel to select the winners, who will receive larger cash prizes.
