NASA SBIR Ignite is a Pilot Program from the NASA SBIR/STTR Program Office. One of the specific purposes of the program is to increase private sector commercialization of innovations derived from federal R/R&D, thereby increasing competition, productivity, and economic growth. In particular, NASA seeks to fund ideas that are relevant in the commercial market, while contributing to the agency’s goals in aeronautics and space technology development. Phase I funding is $150,000 for 6 months; Phase 2 is $850,000 for 24 months.
