The 2025 Innovation Award Competition, hosted by the Center for Advancing Point of Care Technologies (CAPCaT) in Heart, Lung, Blood, and Sleep Disorders, is a funding opportunity for innovators developing or validating point-of-care technologies aimed at improving diagnosis, monitoring, or management of diseases in these domains. The award is particularly interested in technologies that target lung diseases and/or incorporate complementary and integrative health approaches.
Applications from all sources with secure intellectual property rights will be considered, public or private, nonprofit or for-profit. Up to four awards of $100,000 each will be granted for a 12-month period alongside NIH-level mentorship and commercialization resources. Priority areas include wearables, diagnostics, mobile apps, and innovations addressing adoption and dissemination barriers.
