Kathy Sohar has had a varied career and experienced the startup scene from multiple perspectives. She was an early-employee at two tech startups (both acquired), and has worked within the University Innovation system since 2012 as Assistant Director of the Hub incubator and in her current role as the Director of the Collaboratory for Women Innovators.

She has a strong background in grant writing, oversight and evaluation, has led several national projects with remote teams, and served on national and local boards. She is also a musician and has been a puppeteer with a touring marionette troupe.

Kathy will cover topics such as how to foster diversity and inclusion; strategic partnership development; executing successful remote-based team projects; and finding and accessing resources for your business.
