Feathr began as a “digital business card app”, a side project of two UF engineers looking for anything to focus on other than class. Eight years and two major pivots later, Feathr has “failed forward” into being one of the fastest-growing SaaS startups in all of Florida. Recently recognized as #8 on the Gator100, Feathr has over 100 employees are and recently became the first software startup in Gainesville to raise a Series B round of VC funding.

Aidan is also the board president of startGNV, a 501(c)(3) non-profit focused on growing the Greater Gainesville innovation ecosystem. startGNV just announced a rebrand (formerly startupGNV) and launched a new community portal website showcasing the companies, storylines, and opportunities that define our unique tech/startup scene. The organization runs a number of programs each year including Josh Greenberg Day, Startup Weekend, Barcamp, Super Meetup, and CelebrateGNV, and oversee

Aidan will share his story as well as that of Feathr and startGNV, as well as discuss the response of both organizations to the challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
