The device will utilize MLM Biologic's collagen processing and stabilization technologies. The focus is on preventing infection in complex, traumatic injuries in austere environments. The company plans to incorporate their proprietary technologies and proven anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial components, with potential civilian use in the future.
Climbing a New Path Allows Chemists To Ascend Cancer’s Steepest Research Challenges
The cancer gene MYC has been called the “Mount Everest” of cancer research because of the difficulty of designing medications that can disable it, and the expectation that an effective MYC drug could help so many cancer patients. A collaboration among RNA scientists, chemists and cancer biologists in Florida and Germany has climbed that peak, while opening new routes to summit other similarly hard-to-treat diseases.

The ranking is based on a survey of over 45,000 employees at American companies and institutions with 5,000 or more employees. Participants rated their current employers on a scale of 0 to 10 for recommendation and mentioned any other employers they would recommend.

Entrinsic Bioscience Unveils Animal Study on Breakthrough Hydration Technology
A patented blend of amino acids will be part of the next generation of oral rehydration solutions, according to an animal study conducted by a team of researchers at Entrinsic Bioscience. The study demonstrated that the blend of amino acids was more efficient in transporting electrolytes and fluids than the glucose-based oral rehydration solution (ORS) recommended by the World Health Organization. The formula also decreased epithelial anion channel activity and improved intestinal barrier function at a greater level. The two formulas were tested in animals which had diarrhea induced through cholera toxin.
