SATLANTIS Will Launch Its Second Nano-Camera Into Space in 2022
UF startup and UF Innovate | The Hub resident company SATLANTIS, a provider of high-performance payload technologies for Earth observation and remote sensing, will launch its second nano-camera into space in 2022. The plans were announced during the annual meeting held in Bilbao, Spain, by its Advisory Council, which is proud of the success achieved in the first mission that captured 65,000 images of the earth in a clear commitment in favor of future actions to improve the environment.
This new technological advance, which is being designed and elaborated, will continue the project that started successfully last May with the launch of the iSIM170 camera to the International Space Station, equipped with a submeter resolution and a reduced weight up to now never reached.
