UF Innovate Launches COVID-19 Resource Section on Website

The new dedicated section offers tools for researchers and startups during the COVID-19 pandemic.

As part of UF Innovate’s continuous commitment to inform, it has introduced a COVID-19 Resource Section on the organization’s website. The new page is a comprehensive collection of various tools for researchers and startups, including links to available grants, collaborative efforts, funding opportunities, and advice from VCs.

“UF Innovate staff members continue to work tirelessly from home, practicing social distancing as we battle COVID-19,” said Jim O’Connell, assistant vice president for commercialization. “Our responsibility is to rapidly deliver meaningful support—especially at this time—and the new section of our website is one of the many ways we are fulfilling that responsibility.”

Through the new section, researchers have direct access to disclose COVID-19 technologies on the UF Innovate | Tech Licensing online portal. At the same time, UF and Incubation Services startups — UF Innovate | The Hub and UF Innovate | Sid Martin Biotech — have direct access to resources and support they need.

These resources, along with others, can be found on UF Innovate’s website.
