Scientists are using powerful magnets to learn how to better detect, treat and track the second leading cause of death worldwide, cancer. Dr. Duane Mitchell, co-director of the Preston A. Wells Jr. Center for Brain Tumor Therapy and director of the UF Brain Tumor Immunotherapy Program, shared his findings with Fields, a magazine about high magnetic field research for doers and lovers of science.
