Brain Cancer Researcher Visits TV20 Studio

Catherine Flores, Ph.D., an assistant professor in the UF College of Medicine’s Lillian S. Wells Department of Neurosurgery and a principal investigator in UF’s Brain Tumor Immunotherapy Program, visited the WCJB TV20 studios to discuss her research in advance of the Lemon Ball, a fund-raising effort organized by Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, started by a 4-year-old girl suffering from neuroblastoma cancer.

“Alex’s gave me my first award as a young investigator and the results of that have actually now transpired into a clinical study,” said Flores.
