Exactech Earns Research Award at International Computer-Assisted Surgery Conference for ExactechGPS® Knee Application (BusinessWire)

UF startup Exactech, a leading developer and producer of bone and joint restoration products and biologic solutions for extremities, knee and hip, earned the Second Place Best Clinical Podium Presentation Award for one of five new research studies presented on the company’s latest computer guidance technology for knee surgery at the International Society for Computer Assisted Orthopaedic Surgery (CAOS) annual meeting in Beijing, China earlier this month.

The award-winning research demonstrated the potential for ExactechGPS to accurately manage soft tissue balance, bone cuts and overall alignment of the knee in joint replacement surgery.
