our trash can produce a lot of harmful byproducts, so can anything be done to help reduce its negative impact? 🗑🤔 On this week’s #TechTuesday segment for WCJB TV20 News, Melanie Morón is joined by Pradeep Jain of Sustainable Landfill Solution. His company uses a special technology called ROBOX to clean #leachate, a liquid waste stream generated in landfills. This process produces clean water that can be reused for dust control, washing equipment, and spray irrigation. 💧
Their innovative process also contains all the bad chemicals found in the stream and puts them right back into the landfill instead of releasing them into the environment. This is a sustainable solution that they plan to implement at several other landfills around the country! 🍃♻️🏞️
