Tech Tuesday Ruogu Fang
In today’s Tech Tuesday for WCJB TV20, UF Innovate’s Lauren Asmus introduces us to biomedical engineer, Dr. Ruogu Fang. Dr. Fang is an assistant professor at the University of Florida who made an important discovery when studying the brain and the eye. Using a portable camera that scans the back of the eye to capture a fundus image, Dr. Fang employs artificial intelligence to analyze the image to diagnose Alzheimer’s disease and other neurodegenerative diseases.
