Fang Invited to Present at the National Academies’ Workshop on Bidirectionality Between AI & Neuroscience

UF researcher Dr. Ruogu Fang was invited to present at The National Academies’ Workshop on Bidirectionality between AI and Neuroscience. The invitation comes from The National Academies Forum on Neuroscience and Nervous System Disorders, organizing a hybrid workshop titled “Exploring the Bidirectional Relationship between Artificial Intelligence and Neuroscience.” The workshop occurred on March 25-26 in Washington, D.C.

Fang Announced As NAI Senior Member

The National Academy of Inventors (NAI) proudly announced its 2024 class of Senior Members, honoring 124 distinguished academic inventors from NAI’s Member Institutions. Among them is UF innovator Ruogu Fang, Ph.D., recognized for being a rising leader in her field with success in patents, licensing, and commercialization, and for producing “technologies that have brought, or aspire to bring, real impact on the welfare of society.”

Fang Receives Distinguished Recognition By Rising Stars (Engineering) From the Academy of Science, Engineering, and Medicine of Florida

Dr. Ruogu Fang has achieved the distinguished recognition of Rising Stars (Engineering) and will be honored at the forthcoming annual meeting of the Academy of Science, Engineering, and Medicine of Florida (ASEMFL). The ASEMFL is an esteemed gathering of Florida’s preeminent scholars, encompassing individuals who both reside and work in the state. Situated at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, ASEMFL is a non-profit organization that unites top-tier scholars and researchers hailing from various universities, public agencies, and industries throughout Florida. Their collective mission is to delve into critical issues at the intersection of science, engineering, and medicine that have a direct impact on the people of Florida.
