The Cade Prize for Inventivity, hosted by the Cade Museum and named after Dr. Robert Cade (inventor of Gatorade), recognizes early-stage inventors and entrepreneurs whose creative inventions address pressing problems in their fields. Applicants from across the United States are welcome to apply and are not required to have a working prototype.
The competition offers a total of $100,000 in cash prizes, along with in-kind legal services from intellectual property attorneys. It is open to innovations across five entry categories: Environmental, Technology, Healthcare, Wildcard, and Sports. The deadline to apply is July 10th 2025.
