The NSF Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs offer non-dilutive funding for groundbreaking, use-inspired research and development. These programs support startups and small businesses working on leading-edge technologies with potential societal impact, aiming to address major challenges through innovative solutions.

The programs exist for Phase I, Phase II & Fast-Track based on status of research investigation and previous funding awards.
