Event Details

The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) is currently accepting applications for Cycle 1 of its Small Business Applicant Assistance Program (AAP). This opportunity is designed to support small businesses planning to submit SBIR or STTR grant applications.

The AAP offers free, one-on-one proposal preparation support for companies intending to apply for NIAID Phase I, Phase II/IIB, Fast Track, or Direct-to-Phase II SBIR/STTR awards. Participants will work directly with a Senior Consultant from Foresight Science & Technology, receiving assistance with proposal outlines, registration guidance, commercialization plan reviews, research strategies, budget planning, and more.

This program is open to U.S.-based small businesses that meet NIH SBIR/STTR eligibility criteria, have research aligned with NIAID’s mission and high-priority areas. Only the first 35 qualified applicants will be accepted, so early application is strongly encouraged. Apply by the September 5th 2025 deadline here.
