NASA is hosting the Sustainable Business Model Challenge to engage entrepreneurs, startups, researchers, and innovators in creating business models that use NASA’s publicly available Earth system science data. The goal is to design sustainable solutions that address real-world resiliency challenges and promote the development of resilient infrastructure.

This opportunity is open to individuals, teams, and legally recognized organizations. Participants must submit a business model that integrates at least one NASA Earth system science database, such as NASA’s EOSDIS, NEX, or ClimateSERV. Up to 10 winners will be awarded $10,000 each, adding up to $100,000 in prize funding overall. Participants will receive access to a 10-week capability development training to strengthen their NASA SBIR Phase I proposal and tailored expert feedback through a readiness assessment.
