The U.S. Department of Energy’s Beyond the Meter: Energy Storage Integration Prize seeks innovative grid-edge technology solutions that enable seamless integration of energy storage systems (ESS) across a two-way electricity grid. This Prize targets behind-the-meter technologies that help different energy systems and vendors work together efficiently.

Participating companies will showcase their integration capabilities, plan collaborations with industry leaders, and present their technology at DISTRIBUTECH 2025, with up to two winning teams awarded $100,000 and booth space at the conference.
