Elliott Welker serves as the Incubator Manager for UF Innovate | Sid Martin Biotech, but he is the force behind Innovation NaviGator, a role that benefits the entire community of entrepreneurs and would-be entrepreneurs in the North Central Florida community. Elliott is the Innovation NaviGator.
We at UF Innovate believe that the best way forward for the area’s entire community of entrepreneurs is to join together as one group, connecting and working together to build this ecosystem and the local economy. Let’s make Gainesville and the surrounding communities a hub of entrepreneurial activity that supports and builds companies and attracts other worthy ventures toward this area.
Enter Elliott as the Innovation NaviGator. His goal is to amplify the many strengths of this community by connecting people to services and resources that can propel them to success. Elliott is at your service and more than happy to help guide you toward the amazing resources North Central Florida has.
Elliott works on programs and progress for startup companies in UF Innovate | Accelerate at Sid Martin Biotech in Alachua.
Before joining UF Innovate, Elliott was a business development intern for ReliOx Corporation, a resident startup at Sid Martin Biotech; a legal assistant for Robert S. Griscti, Esq., assisting him in his practice of white-collar criminal law, criminal defense, federal and state litigation, professional licensing and appeals; and volunteered with the North Central Florida Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.
He earned his BA in history with a minor in teaching English as a second language (2013) and MBA focusing on entrepreneurship and marketing (2017) from UF. He was a Bob Graham Center for Public Service Student Fellow and Poe Center for Business Ethics Education and Research MBA Fellow.
