Karger Publishers is hosting the 2025 Vesalius Innovation Award, an annual opportunity recognizing early-stage startups and young entrepreneurs who are revolutionizing the way scientific knowledge is communicated, evaluated, or applied. Inspired by the legacy of Andreas Vesalius, this award seeks to spotlight innovations that make science more accessible, trustworthy, and impactful, especially in areas related to health sciences, open science, and public engagement).

The award is open to early-stage startups around the globe, with a particular emphasis this year on innovations that strengthen research integrity, enable responsible AI use, or promote sustainable knowledge transfer. Selected participants will brecieve global visibility during the award ceremony at the STM Innovator Fair 2025, as well as mentorship, networking opportunities, and access to funding. The overall winner will receive $15,000, with two runners-up each awarded $5,000.
