The Digital Information Platform (DIP) Sub-Project of NASA’s Air Traffic Management – eXploration (ATM-X) invites teams to build advanced, data-driven services to make better predictions of runway throughputs using machine learning or other techniques. These technologies will provide short-term estimated airport runway throughput using simulated real-time information from historical NAS, weather forecast data, and other factors.

The total prize pool for this competition is $120,000. This competition is open to students, faculty, and university-affiliated individuals across the U.S.
