The Journey to 3D Map the World – Amir Rubin of Paracosm

In 2012, inspired by a desire to recreate the amazing locations Amir Rubin and his wife Katie had visited, he was hit by the vision to 3D map the world. With funds from his personal savings earned from consulting gigs and proceeds from the exit from Prioria Robotics, his first company, UF startup Paracosm, a cloud-based software company that leverages 3D mapping technology to unleash the digital world into reality, launched in January 2013.
