The City of Gainesville is holding its 2019 State of the City Address Wednesday, Jan. 30 at 12:30 p.m. at the Cade Museum for Creativity and Invention., which will feature highlights from 2018, and present the continued vision for Gainesville.
The 2019 State of the City Address will incorporate musical acts to showcase the history and diversity of Gainesville during its first 150 years of incorporation. The acts include folk music by Chuck Levy, Brent and Inslee Baldwin (www.banjourneys.com), Jason and Sarah Hedges of Heavy Petty, a favorite local band and the Expressions Learning Arts Academy’s Dragon Chorus.
