The Gainesville Hackerspace is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization who has dedicated itself to helping the Gainesville community make their creative ideas a reality. We provide a physical space where hackers, engineers, scientists, artists, and other creative types can gather to share ideas, equipment, opinions, and even food. Members are likely to show up to work on personal projects, consult with other members, and learn new things. More than just a project work space, we aim to share all types of knowledge in a friendly and collaborative environment. We have two locations filled with all the tools and equipment you could need to whatever you dream of, from hands on equipment like lathes, mills and welders, high tech equipment like 3D printings, CNC routers, and laser cutters, fabric crafts like sewing machines and vinyl cutting, electronics workbenches, and much, much more!
