Tech Tuesday: New AI-Supported Platform Assists Nurses With Patient Documentation

In this week’s Tech Tuesday, UF Innovate host Elora Duong interviews Tamara Macieira, CPO of Moxie Hands-Free Nurse—an AI-supported platform that helps nurses with their documentation needs.

“Patient care is advancing at a rapid rate. Let’s learn how. Tamara, tell us a little bit about who you are and what you do,” said Duong.

“I’m an assistant professor here at the University of Florida College of Nursing, and I am a nurse scientist. So I’m both a nurse and a researcher. And what I’ve been working on, myself and my team that we are very excited about, is a technology called Moxie. And Moxie is an AI-supported platform that is helping nurses with their documentation needs,” said Macieira.

“So, tell me a little bit more about what Moxie is and what it does,” said Duong.
