University of Florida Aims To Make 3D Printing More Eco-Friendly by Addressing the Plastic Waste
In this week’s Tech Tuesday, UF Innovate highlights Simple Spool, a device developed by Andrew Breeden and his Capstone Design team from the University of Florida’s Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering to help fix the problem of 3D printer recycling. This solution aims to make 3D printing more eco-friendly by tackling the issue of plastic waste in the process.
“What if we could make 3D printing more eco-friendly? We’re here with the UF’s Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering to learn more. Andrew, tell us a little bit more about who you are and what we do here,” said Elora Duong, host of UF Innovate.
