Tech Tuesday: UF Blacksmiths Teach the Skills and Tricks for the Hobby

For this week’s Tech Tuesday, UF Innovate’s host Bethany Gaffey introduces Daniel Bolden, president of the Gator Blacksmithing design team at the University of Florida.

“Did you know that UF has its own forge? We’re here with Gator Blacksmithing to learn more. Daniel, tell us more about who you are and what you do,” said Gaffey.

“Yes, so my name is Daniel. I am the head of the design team, Gator Blacksmithing, where we take students who don’t know what an anvil is and teach them over the course of many workshops, how to forge their own set of blacksmith tools, replied Daniel Bolden.

“What are some of the activities that club members can participate in?” Bethany Gaffey asked.
