Scripps Institute Spin-Out Company Raises $3 Million
Myosin Therapeutics, a UF biotechnology company developing new medications to treat brain cancer and methamphetamine addiction, secured $3 million in seed funding from investors. The capital will be used to initiate multiple clinical trials this year, said co-founder and CEO Courtney Miller.
Based in Jupiter, Myosin is a spin-out of the Herbert Wertheim UF Scripps Institute, a research institute focused on developing neuroscience and oncology therapies
