UF Professor Shares His Results on Space Experiment
Going to space is an opportunity most people never get to experience. However, one professor from the University of Florida has waited his entire life for this moment.
On August 29th, a University of Florida professor traveled to space and returned in just 11 minutes. Dr. Rob Ferl is the first NASA-funded academic to conduct experiments in space. He shared his experience of being launched into zero gravity.
“The launch pad is very slow at first, but after a couple of minutes, when you’re traveling at 2,000 miles per hour, you really feel the extra G-forces,” explained Dr. Ferl.
