Tech Tuesday: Maribel Ciampitti

In this week’s Tech Tuesday for WCJB TV20, UF Innovate’s Melanie Morón interviews Maribel Ciampitti, research manager at the UF College of Medicine in Jacksonville, who is designing a device to help improve the lives of patients recovering their respiratory muscle strength. Spending 27 years as a speech pathologist, Ciampitti recently submitted a new technology to UF – a respiratory muscle strength training device which aims to assist patients with breathing and speech difficulties.
