SATLANTIS Receives Investment From Two Spanish Companies

UF startup and UF Innovate | The Hub resident client SATLANTIS, a company specializing in high-performance optical loads for observation of the Earth for small satellites, has had the entry into its shareholding by Enagás, the main natural gas transporter in Spain, after a capital increase of 14 million euros.

SEPIDES, a company that promotes and supports private investments in Spain, has also entered this expansion. In this way, the public group reinforces its presence in the space sector, now incorporating the world of New Space that SATLANTIS represents.

According to the president of Enagás, Antonio Llardén, “we have joined SATLANTIS because it is a technologically pioneering project that allows us to anticipate the future needs of the sector and, at the same time, collaborate with the European regulatory authorities in the search for the best technology in emission detection. At Enagás, we are committed to being carbon neutral by 2040, and this initiative, promoted through our subsidiary Enagás Emprende, is part of that commitment that involves promoting innovative projects with a sustainable approach.”
