UF Startup Among Small Drones Vendors for Federal Procurement

The Defense Innovation Unit has announced that starting September 2020, agencies can use the General Services Administration Schedule to buy from five drone manufacturing companies that were made available through the Blue sUAS program.

UF startup Altavian, a Gainesville-based company, is among the approved vendors along with Vantage Robotics, Parrot, Teal, and Skydio.
