Venture Atlanta Presenter Admiral Named 2019 Most VC-Backable Startup
UF Innovate | The Hub resident company Admiral, a pioneering innovator in AdBlock recovery and digital subscriptions, has been notified that the Global Venture Capital Investment Competition (VCIC) named the company 2019 Most VC-Backable Startup. The Global VCIC includes venture capitalists, student VC teams and fast-growing startups in a one-of-a-kind venture pitch and due diligence competition to find the world’s top young venture capital talent and most VC-backable startups. Admiral’s VRM platform helps digital publishers grow visitor relationships and revenue in the face of ad blockers, privacy blockers, and new privacy regulations disrupting the traditional value exchange for online content.
“We were honored to be selected to participate in the Global VCIC event and humbled to have been named Most VC-Backable Startup,” says Dan Rua, CEO. “The competition is daunting, with venture capital teams ripping apart your business model and leaving no due diligence stone unturned. Securing multiple term sheets after such a thorough process was rewarding. We’ll take the recognition, but I think Admiral had an unfair advantage because younger venture capitalists have the most firsthand experience with the growth of ad blockers, privacy blockers and new value exchanges like digital subscriptions and microtransactions among their peers — they see the disruption that’s coming and how it drives Admiral’s growth.”
