UF Health Oncologist Receives $300,000 Child Cancer Research Grant

Hyundai Hope on Wheels is a non-profit organization founded in 1998 and is supported by the automobile manufacturer, Hyundai. Today, Dr. Elias Sayour, a University of Florida pediatric oncologist, received a $300,000 research grant from Hope on Wheels for his children’s cancer research.

He has been working on his research, which deals with developing lipid nanoparticles to help the immune system to prevent cancer from developing, for over 10 years now. He plans to get to the point of clinical trials over the next year.
