UF Professor Among Recipients of the Colgate Award for Research Excellence

Colgate announced the 2020 recipients of the Colgate Award for Research Excellence (CARE). The CARE program recognizes a new generation of academic researchers by providing up to $30,000 (per project) to support oral health research projects across multiple disciplines.  

Robert Shields, Ph.D., a professor at the University of Florida College of Dentistry, is among the recipients for his research titled “Development of new anti-caries therapeutics using a CRISPR interference platform.”
