Emily Gunger, Ghost Particle
In this week’s Tech Tuesday, UF Innovate showcases research in UF’s College of Engineering, where researchers are studying particles so elusive they’re called “ghost particles.”
Led by Dr. Andreas Enqvist in the LOKE Lab, graduate student Emily Gunger explains how this research is advancing the study of neutrinos and their applications in fundamental science.
“How are we able to measure things we can’t see? We’re here today to learn about ghost particles. Emily, tell us a little bit more about who you are and what you do,” asked our host, Elora Duong.
