Seda Tasci, Cognitive Aging

In this week’s Tech Tuesday, UF Innovate highlights graduate student Seda Tasci, who works in the University of Florida’s Neuromotor Behavior Lab with Dr. Rachael Seidler, researching how aging affects brain and motor function to understand early signs of cognitive decline.

“What if we could identify risks for dementia decades in advance? Let’s find out more. Seda, tell us a little bit more about who you are and what you do,” said Elora Duong, host of UF Innovate.

“Hi, I’m Seda Tasci. I’m a PhD student at [the] University of Florida in the Neuromotor Behavior Lab. Currently, I am working on [a] cognitive aging study. I am mostly interested in how aging changes brain structures [and] functions and how these changes affect our daily life, such as mobility and our daily life activities,” said Seda Tasci, graduate student at the University of Florida.
