Tech Tuesday: University of Florida’s Smart Systems Research Explores How Sensors and AI Impact Computing Systems (WCJB TV20)

In this week’s Tech Tuesday, UF Innovate spotlights smart systems research at the University of Florida. Led by Dr. Christophe Bobda, the work explores how intelligent computing systems use sensors and AI to power technologies like autonomous vehicles and drones.

“You’ve heard of smart cars and smart homes, but what goes into powering these systems? Let’s learn more. Christophe, tell us a little bit more about who you are and what you do,” said Elora Duong, host of UF Innovate.

“I’m the Citi Endowed Professor in Advanced Technologies in the ECE Department [at the] University of Florida. I’m also the associate chair for education in the Electrical [and Computer] Engineering Department here at the university.
