In this week’s Tech Tuesday, UF Innovate spotlights AI cancer research at the University of Florida. Dr. Raquel Dias, an assistant professor in the Department of Microbiology and Cell Science, discusses her lab’s use of artificial intelligence to predict patient treatment outcomes across life sciences, agricultural sciences, and human health.
“How is artificial intelligence being used to improve treatment outcomes? Let’s learn more. Raquel, tell us a little bit more about who you are and what you do,” said Elora Duong, host of UF Innovate.
“Sure. I’m an assistant professor here in the Department of Microbiology and Cell Science, and I run a lab leveraging the best of AI technology to solve different problems across life sciences, agricultural sciences, and human health,” replied Dr. Raquel Dias, assistant professor for the Department of Microbiology and Cell Science at the University of Florida.
