Sanofi iNext 2025–2026 is a global pitching competition designed to support bold, high-risk ideas with strong translational potential in pharmaceutical research and development. The program aims to bridge the gap between early innovation and patient care by funding breakthrough concepts that fall outside traditional R&D and venture funding pathways.

Sanofi  invites academic labs and biotech startups based in North America and Europe to apply. Projects must have a clear translational focus; basic science–only proposals are not eligible.

The current call is for pre-proposals, which are due by January 31, 2026. Selected projects may receive up to $500,000 in funding to support an 18-month research program, along with access to Sanofi’s R&D expertise. To begin your application, visit the webpage here.
