The NIWC, in partnership with NSWC CRANE, invites proposals for the Maritime EMS Constructive Simulator (MECS) Challenge. This prize competition seeks innovative solutions to create a Maritime EMS Constructive Simulator prototype within 24-36 months, aimed at enhancing the Navy’s training capabilities across the electromagnetic spectrum (EMS) in simulated maritime environments. 

Proposals should leverage existing joint or service range networks, emphasize open systems architecture, and address identified operational training gaps.
