In this week’s Tech Tuesday, UF Innovate takes a closer look at the University of Florida Training Reactor (UFTR), a unique campus resource. It’s the only research nuclear reactor in Florida, and students can train hands-on and participate in a reactor operator licensing program.
“Did you know that there is a nuclear training reactor in the middle of Gainesville? We’re here to find out more. Tell us a little bit more about where we are today,” said Elora Duong, host of UF Innovate.
