UF Ranks Highly in NIH Funding (UF News)

The University of Florida College of Medicine and College of Pharmacy were recognized for their research funding through the National Institutes of Health in a recent report.

According to the latest data released by the Blue Ridge Institute for Medical Research, the College of Pharmacy ranked No. 3 nationally among pharmacy schools, pulling in $19.4 million in NIH awards in 2025. With $176 million in awards supporting more than 300 research projects, the College of Medicine ranked No. 40, and No. 20 among public institutions.

The medical college’s neurosurgery and neuroscience programs also ranked highly for their NIH grant awards.
