Harvest Underway at UF/IFAS Millennium Block, Providing New Hope for Florida’s Citrus Future (UF/IFAS)
UF researchers have begun harvesting the Millennium Block, a seven-year, 5,000-tree research project in Fort Pierce aimed at identifying citrus varieties and rootstocks that can withstand citrus greening while maintaining yield, fruit quality, and marketability for Florida growers.
